The El Hierro volcano may get tired as the pressure of the magma seems to subside. Too soon to say that the activity will be over, but the subsiding harmonic tremor and the decrease in strength and number of earthquakes are indicators that the strongest eruption period may be over
- 5 M+1.5 earthquakes since midnight
- Strongest earthquake being a 2.6 at 02:02
- Depth of the earthquakes since midnight : 17 to 22 km
- Gradually subsiding harmonic tremor since 03:00 today
- air quality remains GOOD at La Restinga for volcano related emissions
