The Emergency 1-1-2 received 29 calls from El Hierro. Tenerife and La Palma from the earthquake of 4.6 on last night

The Emergency Coordination Center and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 received 29 calls about the quake of 4.6 recorded at 0:20 hours. 24 of them came from the population of the island of El Hierro, four from different municipalities in the south of Tenerife and one of Los Llanos, La Palma.
At 0:20 pm, the National Geographic Institute recorded an earthquake of magnitude 4.6, located on the NW Frontera to 21 kilometers deep, with an intensity of IV-V.
This movement, which was widely felt by the population, has not caused any damage except for some landslides on the road to the summit, the height of the curve of Los CastaƱos, which forced the closure of a traffic lane in that area. At 2:00 hours was restored to normal.

Also, residents of the area of beaches and hillsides in the area of Las Puntas and Pie Risco have reported the sounds of landslides in those areas.

According to provisional data from IGN, during this morning there were two earthquakes felt by the population. The occurred at 0:32 pm, at magnitude 2.8, and 5:30 pm, one of 3.1.

In total, from midnight today and until seven o'clock, there have been 22 earthquakes, located at a depth of between 15 and 24 miles, all in Frontera.
