The earthquake of 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale and intensity IV-V in the EMS-98 scale, caused rockfalls on the road of Pozo de la Salud and Sabinosa,, on the road to La Cumbre, in northern slopes of the area of Guinea, and on the slopes of the tunnel Roquille and Beaches area.
As reported by the National Geographic Institute (IGN) to the direction of Civil Protection Plan for Volcanic Risk Islands (Pevolca).
Also, IGN has confirmed that during the day of November 11, 43 earthquakes were located, four of which were felt by the population.
The main event recorded yesterday at 00:20 hours, and the largest that has occurred throughout the process-volcanic earthquake had a magnitude 4.6 on the Richter scale and an intensity IV-V (EMS). This event was located at the NW of the town of Frontera, two kilometers from the coast and 21 kilometers deep. The rest of the events recorded were located in the Gulf area (municipality of Frontera), aligned NNW / SSE from the sea to the center of the island forming two distinct groups, the first between 15-17 km and the second between the 20-24 km. In total, since the day July 17, 2011 11 493 events have been found.
Felt earthquakes were as follows: 00:20 pm, 21 km depth, intensity IV-V, magnitude 4.6; 00:32 hours, 18 kilometers deep, magnitude 2.8, 2:42 hours, depth 20 km, magnitude 3.4, 05: 30 hours, 24 km depth, magnitude 3.1.
